5th Annual Central Illinois Preparedness Expo! Saturday, August 9, 2014 Hours are from 9am – 5pm, with hourly presentations both inside the clubhouse and outdoors under canopies.
A variety of emergency preparedness, self-defense, field survival and self reliance classes will be held. Workshops, exhibits and presentations will be held throughout the day.
Topics include: Blacksmithing Outdoor Cooking Personal Protection (including firearm & ammo selection for self-defense) Canning First Aid Knife defense Self-defense law Wilderness survival Alternate Power Water purification And, potentially, bug out bag basics.
There will also be displays and potentially, vendors selling their wares.
Segments are taught by experienced presenters, and firearms and survival instructors.
There is no charge to attend. It’s family friendly and lunch will be available on site from 11am – 1pm. (Roughly $5 if last year is any indicator.)
