Eight Lifesaving Medical Skills

The Eight Lifesaving Medical Skills program focuses on recognition and response to eight medical emergencies that can result in death if not treated immediately.
 
Lecture and hands-on practice will be combined to teach basic, immediate and fective care, including CPR, AED, tourniquet application,and other skills.
 
Subjects will include: Respiratory Arrest, Cardiac Arrest, Arterial Bleeding, Heat Stroke, Cold Exposure, Punctured and Collapsed Lungs, Shock, and Severe Dehydration.
 
Participants will be invited to attend meetings of the Survival Medics Team and other training events.

No registration required. Open to the public

There is no charge for this class, but contributions are much appreciated to help continue our educational activities.

    1. Hi Beth, Thank you for your interest. The medical class is geared toward adults and will include lectures as well as hands on training. Some of the images will be rather graphic for a 10 year old, but you will be the best judge of that for your own child.
