This is the privacy and security policy of the AmericanSurvivor.org website. This website is wholly owned and controlled by Live Free USA, a registered not-for-profit, organization. Live Free USA is not affiliated with or managed by a third party. This policy applies solely to information collected by this website.

General Policy

The privacy and security of our members and supporters is our highest priority. We request only the minimum of information necessary for us to provide members and supporters with publications, information and services. At no time will we request information related to your financial status, education, health, race, religion, nationality, age, or gender. Information that you may disclose in private (one to one) e-mails, phone calls or letters will be regarded as privet and confidential unless specified otherwise. The distribution of information provided in forums, blogs, presentations, articles, public e-mails, podcasts and conference calls and social media will be considered public and outside the control of Live Free USA.

Information Collection Use and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to information that you voluntarily provide via forms, e-mail, and other direct contact from you. We will not sell, rent or give this information to anyone outside of this organization for any reason. We will use your information only to provide information via the Internet, e-mail, phone and traditional mailings from us. We will not share your information with third parties.

Security

You may request removal or change of information on our records at any time. Membership information is only shared with specified officers and member for use in providing services such as website access, mailing, and notification. Membership data is stored in computers with up-to-date firewalls, security software, and encrypted networks and on secure servers. Electronic files and paper files are kept in a secure environment at all times. In the unlikely event of a suspected security breach, Live Free USA will notify those affected promptly.
